Joshua Garvic is a member of the firm's corporate transactions and litigation groups. Mr. Garvic's corporate practice focuses on representing individuals and small to mid-size companies in a variety of business transactions. Mr. Garvic frequently advises clients on choice of entity and entity formation, entity finance, contractual negotiations and general business matters.
Education
Mr. Garvic received his B.A. in Criminal Justice from George Washington University and his J.D. from Loyola Law School.
While in law school, Mr. Garvic was an extern for the Honorable Alex Kozinski, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to his externship for Judge Kozinski, Mr. Garvic was an extern in the Enforcement Division of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in Los Angeles, and a summer associate at the law firm of Abrams Garfinkel Margolis and Bergson, where his practice focused primarily on entertainment transactions and private securities offerings. His academic achievements at Loyola included receiving the First Honors Award for the top class grade in International Banking and Finance. Before law school, Mr. Garvic interned in the Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Division of the United States Department of Justice, in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Garvic is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, the San Mateo County Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
Admissions
Mr. Garvic is a member of the State Bar of California. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
